how to crochet a flower necklace and mini buttons | beginner-friendly tutorial + free pattern!


Hi everyone! These are the first projects in my new spring series, where I'll show you how to crochet cute and easy accessories inspired by the season :) The step-by-step video tutorial is on my youtube channel in case you need a visual demonstration. I hope you have so much fun crocheting these!

1. Flower necklace

Round 1

- make a magic ring then chain 3

- repeat 4 times: 2 dc, chain 1

- 1 dc

- ss into the 3rd chain

Round 2 

- chain 3

- in every chain 1 space: 1 dc, 2 tc, 2 dc, ss into the next chain 1 space (repeat 5 times to make 5 petals)

Round 3

- repeat around every petal: chain 3, *1 sc, chain 2, 1 sc* in the 3rd stitch, chain 3, ss into the next chain 1 space

Fasten off!

Make a slip knot, then chain the desired length for the necklace.

After fastening off the chains, thread both ends of the piece through the backside of the flower.

Add beads, pearls, or other decorations, then you're done!

2. DIY crochet buttons

- mage a magic ring

- repeat 5 times: chain 2, 2 dc, chain 2, ss

Fasten off!

Remove the buttons from the cardigan, sweater, or top. Replace them with your new crochet buttons :) Please watch the youtube tutorial for a quick sewing demonstration.

how to crochet a cute bunny | free pattern + video tutorial

Hi everyone! This is the written pattern for my YouTube tutorial . Please refer to the video for demonstrations if you're confused. This is a very repetitive pattern, so follow the same steps shown to crochet all the rounds. Once you're done, you can add some ribbons & bows to make your bunny look even cuter - happy crocheting! Hi everyone! Here's the written pattern for rounds 1-12 of my heart cushion cover. You can find the demonstration/steps for rounds 1-5 and  how to read this pattern and make the stitches in my youtube tutorial . Abbreviations: ch - chain / sc - single crochet / hdc - half double crochet / dc - double crochet / ss - slip stitch Please note that  the steps on ending each round and attaching a new color to your work  (ss + ch 1)  are explained with demonstrations in my youtube tutorial.
