how to crochet a mini basket bag | free pattern and step-by-step tutorial!

Hi everyone! One of my favourite things to crochet is bags, and I've been trying to perfect the pattern for a basket-style bag that's cute but also easy to make.

After lots of trial and error, here's the pattern! It's made with just single crochet stitches, so it's perfect for if you're a beginner. The body of the bag also has surface crochet designs, so you can add different colors without the complicated color change technique. Cute, easy, and quick to make in just under 3 hours :)

If you found this pattern and tutorial helpful + want to try more creative projects like sewing, knitting, digital art, embroidery, and more - you can use this link to get a free 1-month trial of Skillshare! It is a learning platform with thousands of creative classes that you can create with this summer.

I've got some fun classes on Skillshare too - you can make a granny square bag, bow bookmark, sweater for your plushies, or learn pixel grid crochet with me (this also helps support my free patterns, so thank you for joining!)
