One of my favourite things to crochet is bags, and I've been trying to perfect the pattern for a basket-style bag that's cute but also easy to make.  After lots of trial and error, here's the pattern and video tutorial ! It's made with just single crochet stitches, so it's perfect for if you're a beginner. The body of the bag also has surface crochet designs, so you can add different colors without the complicated color change technique. As you might know by now, I'm on a mission to add whimsy to everyday life with cute crochet projects, and what better way to do that than with some fun buttons :)  You can use these as hair accessories, keychains for your bags, decorative charms for your shoes, or journals; the options are endless! Let me know what you're thinking of using them for and happy crocheting <3 Materials: Stitch marker, scissors, stuffing, 2 yarn colors (one for the button and one for the cross detail, optional needle for weaving in the ends For a smaller button - fine weight yarn with a 2 or 2.5 mm hook For a slightly bigger button - DK weight yarn with a 3 or 3.5 mm hook For a palm-sized button, you can also use a medium weight yarn with a 4 mm hook but make sure your stitches are really tight!
