how to crochet a cute mini bunny & bear plushie | easy amigurumi tutorial + free pattern (no magic ring!)
Hi everyone! This is the written pattern for my video tutorial on YouTube. Please watch the video for demonstrations and to understand how this pattern works. I hope you love your mini plushies! You can also turn them into cute keychains and bag charms.

Abbreviations + Notes:
ss - slip stitch / sc - single crochet
Start EVERY piece with a regular or “fake” magic ring! To make a fake magic ring - make a slip knot, chain 3, ss into the 1st chain, chain 1 (doesn’t count as a stitch), then insert the stitches for round 1 into the circles formed between the chains
Head
Round 1: 6 sc
Round 2: 2 sc in every stitch (12)
Round 3: 1 sc, increase (18)
Round 4 to 7: 1 sc in every stitch (18)
Round 8: 1 sc, decrease (12)
Round 9: 6 decreases
ss into the marked stitch then fasten off
Legs
Round 1: 6 sc
Round 2: 1 sc, increase (9)
Round 3: 1 sc in every stitch (9)
ss into the marked stitch then fasten off the 1st leg, then repeat the same steps to make the 2nd leg but DON’T fasten off…
Body
Round 4: 1 sc in every stitch around both legs (total 18)
Round 5 and 6: 1 sc in every stitch (18)
Round 7: 1 sc, decrease (12)
Round 8: 1 sc in every stitch (12)
Round 9: 6 decreases
ss into the marked stitch then fasten off
Hands
Round 1: 6 sc
Round 2 and 3: 1 sc in every stitch
If you want to make the hands longer, crochet 1-2 more rounds of 1 sc in every stitch!
Bunny Ears
Round 1: 6 sc
Round 2: 2 sc in every stitch (12)
Round 3 to 8: 1 sc in every stitch (12)
Round 9: 6 decreases
as into the marked stitch then fasten off - make two ears!
Hat
Round 1: 6 sc
Round 2: 2 sc in every stitch (12)
Round 3: 1 sc, increase (18)
Round 4 to 7: 1 sc in every stitch (18)
Round 8: 2 sc in the front loops of every stitch
Round 9: 1 sc in every stitch
ss into the marked stitch then fasten off
Optional: 3 sc on the sides of the hat to make ears
Heart
Round 1: 6 sc
Round 2: 1 sc in every stitch (6)
ss into the marked stitch then fasten off the 1st piece - repeat the same steps to make the 2nd piece but DON’T fasten off…
Round 3 and 4: 1 sc in every stitch (12)
Round 5: 6 decreases
Decrease once more to close the hole then ss and fasten off
