how to crochet a mini puppy wearing a sweater/scarf | amigurumi tutorial + free pattern!


Hi everyone! I'm back with another mini plushie tutorial & free pattern...still not sure which animal this looks like, but it's cute and cozied up for winter! You can find the yarns & materials I used here, happy crocheting!

Abbreviations:

ss - slip stitch / sc - single crochet / fake magic ring - make a slip knot, chain 3, ss into the 1st chain, chain 1, then insert the stitches into the circle formed between the chains

1. Head

Round 1 - 6 sc

Round 2 - 2 sc in every stitch (!2)

Round 3 - 1 sc, increase (18)

Round 4, 5 and 6 - 1 sc in every stitch (18)

Round 7 - 1 sc, decrease (12)

Round 8 - 6 decreases

2. Legs

Round 1 - 5 dc

Round 2 and 3 - 1 sc in every stitch (5)

ss and fasten off the 1st leg, repeat to make the 2nd leg, then ss to join both legs (total 10 stitches with both legs combined)

3. Body

Round 1 - 1 sc, increase (14)

Round 2 and 3 - 1 sc in every stitch (14)

Round 4 - 1 sc, decrease (10)

Round 5 - 1 sc in every stitch (10)

Round 6 - 5 decreases

4. Ears (make 2)

Round 1 - 6 sc

Round 2, 3 and 4 - 1 sc in every stitch (6)

3 sc through the top of the ears

5. Hands (make 2)

Round 1 - 5 sc

Round 2, 3 and 4 - 1 sc in every stitch (5)

2 sc through the top of the hands

Hi everyone! This is the written pattern for my YouTube tutorial . Please refer to the video for demonstrations if you're confused. This is a very repetitive pattern, so follow the same steps shown to crochet all the rounds. Once you're done, you can add some ribbons & bows to make your bunny look even cuter - happy crocheting! Hi everyone! Here's the written pattern for rounds 1-12 of my heart cushion cover. You can find the demonstration/steps for rounds 1-5 and  how to read this pattern and make the stitches in my youtube tutorial . Abbreviations: ch - chain / sc - single crochet / hdc - half double crochet / dc - double crochet / ss - slip stitch Please note that  the steps on ending each round and attaching a new color to your work  (ss + ch 1)  are explained with demonstrations in my youtube tutorial.
